SUFFOLK roads have seen yet more carnage today as two more accidents have left at least two people with serious injuries.

The first happened around 1.50pm at Melton Hill, near Woodbridge. It involved three cars and one female passenger was left with serious injuries. Two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle were called. The air ambulance was also alerted but was not actually used.

The second accident happened around 2.30pm on the A12 near Wickham Market. A Volvo lorry collided with a Mercedes van causing serious injuries. It is not yet clear who the victims are or the extent of their injuries.

The road was blocked north bound while emergency services tried to clear the vehicles.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should call Ipswich Police on 613500
