Many schools in Ipswich were celebrating improvements to A-level scores yesterday as students discovered if they had made the grade in their quest for a place at university.
Compared to last year’s results A*-C grade pass rates were largely better by a few percentage points.
Some schools also managed to magic 100% for A*-E grades, something only One college achieved in 2014.
While there were no alarming drops in this category at schools in the county town, some did see results fall slightly.
