A MOTHER and toddler have been injured after they were in collision with a car in Ipswich.
The accident happened on Hawthorn Drive at around 2.30pm.
An ambulance spokesman said: “It involved a mum, baby and a three-year-old.
“The mum has leg injuries and the three-year-old has head injuries but they are not believed to be serious.
“It appears that the baby is ok.”
Diversions are expected to be in place for some time and drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
