SNEERING motor maniac Darrell Lambert is today behind bars after adding to his appalling catalogue of car crimes - only seven hours after being released from prison.
The perpetual road yob - prohibited from even being in a car - is facing up to a lengthy jail term after accepting his SIXTH conviction for dangerous driving.
The boozed up 22-year-old reversed into a police car and sped at an officer after he had been spotted behind the wheel on May 11 - the same day he had completed a prison sentence for a carbon copy offence.
Lambert, of Hawke Road, Ipswich, fled the scene but was arrested minutes later.
He initially denied being involved, telling detectives he was wearing similar clothing to the driver because he had been asked to swap his outfit moments before police arrived.
However, the father-of-two later abandoned his outlandish excuse and pleaded guilty to the charges.
