A MOTORCYCLIST has been killed in a collision with a car in Colchester, police confirmed.
The 20-year-old man died when his bike was involved in an accident with a car in Monkwick Avenue at about 3pm.
Fire crews from Colchester, Wivenhoe and West Mersea were called to the scene to assist.
The road remained closed until 7.15pm as officers investigated the cause of the accident.
