A MOTORCYCLIST has died following an accident in Essex.
The 27-year-old man was riding his silver Suzuki 650 motorbike along Royal Artillery Way in Southend at about 6pm yesterday when he struck the barrier.
The man, from Canvey Island, died as a result of his injuries and the road was shut until about 10.30pm while Essex police officers investigated the scene.
