A MOTORCYCLIST has died today following a collision with a trailer in Essex.
The 42-year-old man from Canvey Island was airlifted to Colchester Hospital after the crash around 8.30am in Mayland but died a few hours later.
As a result of the death a man from Mayland, near Maldon, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
