A MAN was killed when the motorcycle he was riding crashed on the A12 in Ipswich.It is believed that the man was travelling out of town when he came off his bike on the London Road stretch of the A12 near to the Holiday Inn shortly before 9pm yesterday.
A MAN was killed when the motorcycle he was riding crashed on the A12 in Ipswich.
It is believed that the man was travelling out of town when he came off his bike on the London Road stretch of the A12 near to the Holiday Inn shortly before 9pm yesterday.
The exact circumstances of the accident are not known, but nobody else was believed to be injured in the incident.
One ambulance and two medics attended the crash scene, and a doctor pronounced the man, believed to be in his 30s, dead at the scene.
Traffic diversions were set up around Scrivener Drive and Spites Lane while the paramedics tended the motorcyclist and police made the road safe.
The victim has not yet been identified.
Police would like to hear from anybody who was travelling in the area at the time of the accident, or who saw a motorcyclist travelling out of Ipswich.
