PART of the westbound carriageway of the A14 was temporarily closed today after a motorcyclist hit a deer.The accident happened at around 5.30pm near Whitton, causing police to close the near side lane.

The accident happened at around 5.30pm near Whitton, causing police to close the near side lane.
The man, believed to be from Needham Market, suffered leg injuries, although an ambulance spokesman said his injuries were not serious.
