A police spokesperson said that they were called to reports of a single vehicle collision on Foxhall Road at 7am this morning.

An ambulance was called to the scene which involved a Silver Triumph motorbike.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We were called today (13th April) at 6.54am to reports of a road traffic collision on Foxhall Road in Ipswich.

“An ambulance crew was dispatched to the scene to help.

“At the scene, we assessed and treated a man, believed to be in his 40s.

“The patient was taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.”

Traffic is now flowing freely on the road.
