Motorcyclist who died after Yamaha and Audi collided in Akenham was 26 and from Ipswich

The motorcyclist who died following a serious collision with a car north of Ipswich on Saturday afternoon was a 26-year-old man from the town, police have confirmed.
He was travelling along Henley Road in Akenham just before 1pm when his blue Yamaha collided with a white Audi.
Emergency services were called to the scene, where the motorcyclist was treated for “critical injuries”.
Suffolk police confirmed yesterday evening that the man had died and his next of kin had been informed.
His identity has not been disclosed. However police confirmed this afternoon he was a 26-year-old Ipswich man.
Two people in the car also suffered injuries with one taken to Ipswich Hospital complaining of neck pain.
The injuries are not thought to be serious.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said two response cars, two ambulance crews and Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were dispatched. Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service also sent two crews from Princes Street and Ipswich East.
The accident happened between the Lower Road and Rede Lane junctions.
It is thought the motorcyclist was heading towards Henley while the car was travelling in the Ipswich direction.
The road remained closed at 7.30pm while investigations were carried out.
Suffolk Constabulary is appealing for anyone who witnessed the accident or saw either vehicle prior to the collision to get in touch.
