Motorist cut free out of vehicle by firefighters after crash in Felixstowe

Firefighters cut free a motorist trapped in a car after a crash in Felixstowe today.

A blue Rover 25 and a red Ford Focus were involved in a collision in Langer Road at 1.10pm.

Police said firefighters cut off the roof of the Ford to free the driver, who was taken to Ipswich Hospital with non-serious injuries.

The other driver suffered minor injuries and was not taken to hospital.
