A MOTORIST was taken to hospital with facial injuries following a road smash near Martlesham.
The accident, involving two vehicles, happened at around 11.14pm last night at the Martlesham roundabout on the A12.
Three fire crews attended the accident and cutting equipment was used to free a motorist.
An ambulance spokesman said the casualty was taken to hospital for treatment to facial injuries.
