POLICE today named the motorist who died in a head-on smash with a lorry on the A14 yesterday.Graham Whitfield, 50, of Rattlesden, near Stowmarket, was driving the wrong way along the Ipswich-bound carriageway near Elmswell when his Ford Mondeo collided with a Scania lorry shortly after 9am.
POLICE today named the motorist who died in a head-on smash with a lorry on the A14 yesterday.
Graham Whitfield, 50, of Rattlesden, near Stowmarket, was driving the wrong way along the Ipswich-bound carriageway near Elmswell when his Ford Mondeo collided with a Scania lorry shortly after 9am.
Ongoing investigations have found that the same car was in collision with a lorry in Rattlesden just 15 minutes earlier.
