IPSWICH MP Chris Mole has today taken time out during his visit to New Zealand to insist that his round the world trip with fellow MPs is no stroll in the park.
He has written to the Star from his hotel in a New Zealand saying that the gruelling round of meetings made the trip no holiday.
He says he has kept up to date with events in his constituency by e-mail and has had dozens of meetings to find out about democracy in other countries.
The four members of a House of Commons committee left Britain a week ago, and are due to return by the middle of next week.
