A MAN has appeared in court in connection with the death of a 22-year-old mechanic in Bury St Edmunds on Christmas Eve.Ghanaian-born Prince Kofi Koomson of St Johns Place, Bury St Edmunds died in the early hours of Sunday, December 24 after being stabbed several times.
A MAN has appeared in court in connection with the death of a 22-year-old mechanic in Bury St Edmunds on Christmas Eve.
Ghanaian-born Prince Kofi Koomson of St Johns Place, Bury St Edmunds died in the early hours of Sunday, December 24 after being stabbed several times.
Kwabena Asumadu, 28, who also lives at St Johns Place appeared before a judge at Ipswich Crown Court today charged with his murder.
Asumadu spoke only to confirm his details and his legal representative gave indication of a possible not guilty plea at a later date although no formal plea has been entered at this stage.
He was remanded in custody and is due to appear again on April 4 for a plea and case management hearing.
