POLICE have tonight arrested two men on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found at a house in Bury St Edmunds.
Officers were called to a house in Eagle Walk in the town at about 1.50pm after reports of the death of a 42-year-old woman.
Police confirmed the death was being treated as murder. A force spokeswoman said a 23-year-old man was arrested at 6.50pm and a 42-year-old man was also arrested at 7.20pm. Both are being questioned on suspicion of murder.
The spokeswoman said the woman's identity would be confirmed until official identification had taken place and that the coroner had been informed of the death.
