A MAN being hunted in connection with the murder of a mother-of-two has now been found.

Police investigating the murder of Southend woman Inga Losiene had been trying to trace her partner, Farik Faruk, who has connections to Ipswich.

Faruk, 32, was yesterday arrested by police in Sweden on suspicion of murder and rape.

Officers were flying out to Sweden today, where Farik will appear at a preliminary hearing tomorrow and a full hearing at the weekend.

If Faruk does not appeal against extradition, he could be brought back to England within ten to 12 days, where he will be charged and put before court as soon as possible.

Police are still trying to trace a known associate of Faruk, 19-year-old Soran Fatih formerly of Marine Parade, Southend, who also has connections to Ipswich.

The body of Ms Losiene, who went missing on May 29, was discovered in the boot of a car in Southend on June 7.
