POLICE have named a murder victim beaten and stabbed before being driven in his own car to hospital.
It is thought Nehemiah Myrie, 24, from the Northampton area, was attacked on Friday in Northampton town centre after using a telephone box.
Now detectives want to talk to two men who took him to hospital in his blue Volkswagen RS32 but then left.
Mr Myrie had used the phone box on the corner of Kettering Road and Grove Road at around 9.45pm when he walked into Alcombe Road and was attacked, said Northamptonshire police.
Two men - one black, the other Asian - then helped him and took him to hospital.
Forensic tests were carried out on the victim's car yesterday.
