MYSTERY still surrounds the

disappearance of two pet dogs that vanished while they were being taken on a routine walk.

A month has passed since Toffee and Henry disappeared while out in the woods which back on to their house in Stone Street, Hadleigh.

As time goes by, the family is growing anxious and is desperate to be reunited with their dogs.

Lorraine Florence, 42, who was walking the dogs with her family when they disappeared is offering a £500 reward for the safe return of the animals with the Evening Star also offering a further £1,000 reward.

Mrs Florence confirmed today that there was still no news of the two dogs and is mystified by their sudden disappearance.

"Not knowing what happened is the biggest problem - it is a horrible feeling. I can't stop crying and I look for them every day.

"If the dogs had run off there is no way that they wouldn't have come back. It looks more likely that they have been picked up.

"The possible sightings haven't come to anything and we are just going round in circles," said Mrs Florence.

Anybody who thinks they may have seen Henry or Toffee is asked to call Mrs Florence on 07761 053915.
