Mystery man in Tattingstone sought

POLICE in Capel St Mary have today asked people to help them identify a man who has been seen on private land next to the A137 in Tattingstone on a number of occasions.

POLICE in Capel St Mary have today asked people to help them identify a man who has been seen on private land next to the A137 in Tattingstone.

The man is described as white, approximately 5ft 8in tall, aged 25-30 years, with stubble and unkempt hair. He is thought to be quite athletic.

This man is known to wear a black baseball cap and distinctive black jacket with padded orange lining. The short bomber style jacket has a zip pocket in the sleeve. It has a rip on the left arm. The jacket bears a white skull and crossbones with a logo written underneath.

This man was last seen between 8 and 9pm on Tuesday night and prior to that on Monday between 5.10 and 5.40pm, however he has been seen on this particular farm on several previous occasions.

It may be that this man believes he has a legitimate reason for being in this area and police would like him to come forward in order to establish what this might be.

His repeated presence on this particular property in the area is causing the owners a great deal of alarm and distress and police would like anyone who thinks that they know who this person is to contact them at Capel St Mary Police Station on 01473 383115.
