A NAKED sunbather had to be rescued after he slipped and became impaled on a rusty metal spike - through his groin.
The 34-year-old had been drinking with two friends and his girlfriend near Haslar Lake in Gosport yesterday afternoon when he slipped as he went to go to toilet and became impaled on the eight-inch long iron post.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene and firefighters managed to lift the man off the spike before he was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.
