Suffolk: National newspapers were today scurrying to follow up The Evening Star’s exclusive story on Suffolk’s chief Andrea Hill.
Yesterday the Star printed a late edition paper which revealed the speculation surrounding Mrs Hill’s absence from the county council. Updates on our website throughout the day added that she is taking extended leave after returning home from a holiday in America.
Today national newspapers including The Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, and The Guardian have followed up the story which we broke first.
Controversial has dogged the �218,000 chief executive since she was appointed three years ago.
