Needham Market: Desperate appeal to rehome four cats ‘orphaned’ after death of the man who treated them like children

AN appeal has been made to find a home for four cats whose owner recently died.

Suzanne Softly, 28, is looking for someone to take on Lily and her offspring Gizmo, Pixie and Sky, who belonged to her father Peter, who died in April.

He nurtured many cats who were either abandoned or without homes, bringing them back to full health. Ms Softly said: “I’m looking for a home for them all together because my dad would have wanted that.”

However, she said they might have to be homed separately in a “worst case scenario”.

She is paying 500 a month for the quartet to stay at a cattery until spaces at a rescue centre can be found, which may take some time.

“They really are such lovely cats and all have sweet temperaments and deserve lots of love and affection.” Gizmo, Pixie and Sky are all three and Lily is four. If you can help, e-mail or call 07856 094515.
