Vehicles from a wholesaler’s west Suffolk depot are carrying images of Luke Durbin in an effort to find out what happened to the 19-year-old after he went missing in Ipswich 11 years ago.
Luke, from Hollesley, disappeared after a night out, and was last seen in Dog’s Head Street early on the morning of May 12, 2006.
His mother Nicki, who now lives in Ipswich, has continued a high-profile campaign in a bid to discover his whereabouts.
Suffolk and Norfolk police’s major investigation unit is continuing its inquiry into Luke’s case.
His disappearance, like others being featured on Palmer & Harvey’s vans, will raise the profile of the search for missing people in the communities where they were last seen.
Its vehicles deliver to shops across East Anglia and beyond.
The company and the charity Missing People are collaborating on a new initiative ‘Delivering Hope’ to raise the profile of missing people.
Ms Durbin said: “The ongoing support Missing People has offered me since the day Luke went missing has been invaluable.
“It’s so important to me to keep raising the of profile of Luke’s appeal to encourage people to come forward with any information they may have.
“The Delivering Hope campaign is a great new way for us to reach people here in the East of England where we believe Luke was last seen who may not already have come across the appeal.”
Missing People offers a lifeline to people who are missing and brings hope to the families who are desperately waiting for news of their missing loved one.
This partnership will help extend the visibility and reach of Missing People’s efforts to find a missing person or encourage members of the public to come forward with new information.
