A NEW bus service is being introduced so that people in Ipswich can visit the historic burial site at Sutton Hoo.
The service, which has been introduced for the summer, will operate from Tower Ramparts Bus Station at 9.45am on Thursdays and Saturdays returning from Sutton Hoo at 3.30pm.
Malcolm Robson, managing director of Ipswich Buses, said: “Sutton Hoo is an amazing experience for anyone who visits. We believe that this bus service will provide a brand new opportunity for Ipswich residents to have a special day out at the site.”
