The courageous six-year-old has been through more in the last few months than most people will have to endure in a lifetime.

After being diagnosed with a condition that attacks the heart, the Suffolk schoolgirl had to undergo a vital heart transplant.

Despite responding badly to the treatment at times, Emily is now back home with her devoted parents Mark and Marie.

Although they have had to face a traumatic time Emily and her family have stayed positive throughout their darkest moments.
