A new guide to make it easier for visitors to find their way around the heart of Ipswich has been published – and gone on offer at Tourist Information Centres and railway stations across the region.

Explore Ipswich visitor guide has been produced by the town’s Direct Marketing Organisation and Ipswich Central to highlight the town’s attractions to visitors.

It has information about the town’s shopping centre, visitor attractions including the Waterfront and town centre parks, and features about its entertainment offer.

The guide also focus on Ipswich’s role as the gateway to other attractions in Suffolk.

The aim is to attract both day visitors and those looking for a longer stay in the region – the town’s good road and rail connections with the rest of the region and major nationally-renowned tourist hotspots are highlighted as a reason for coming to stay in Ipswich for a weekend or a full holiday.
