CONSULTATION on a new flagship learning centre for young people in Ipswich is today set to get underway.
The learning complex, for 14 to 19-year-olds will be developed on the south west edge of Ipswich, easily accessible from the A12 and A14.
The centre, which will have 2,200 places available, will provide a complete range of learning and development opportunities for students of all ranges and abilities.
It will also have vocational and specialist facilities, indoor and outdoor sport, learning and leisure space, as well as performance facilities.
Consultation on the project begins on January 14 and will run until February 24.
