New stars announced for Latitude

TELEVISION comedy favourites and the Royal Shakespeare Company have joined the impressive line-up for this summer's Latitude Festival.Scottish funnyman Frankie Boyle, star of BBC Two's Mock the Week, and fast-paced comedian Lee Mack are joining the line-up in the comedy tent for the festival at Henham Park, near Southwold, from July 17 to 20.

TELEVISION comedy favourites and the Royal Shakespeare Company have joined the impressive line-up for this summer's Latitude Festival.

Scottish funnyman Frankie Boyle, star of BBC Two's Mock the Week, and fast-paced comedian Lee Mack are joining the line-up in the comedy tent for the festival at Henham Park, near Southwold, from July 17 to 20.

Time Out award winner Robin Ince will also appear alongside already-confirmed acts including Bill Bailey, Ross Noble and Simon Amstell.

The Royal Shakespeare Company will be performing a series of five minute mini epic plays in the theatre tent alongside a play from the National Theatre's New Connections series, an ambitious programme for young theatre writers.

The international art exhibiton postSecret will also be featured in the music and film arena, where festival goers will be ivnited to add their own secret to the exhibition.

John King, the author of The Football Factory, and Norfolk-based writer Raffaella Barker will appear alongside Simon Armitage, Hanif Kureishi, Irvine Welsh and Iain Banks in the literary arena.
