A new Superdrug store including a nail bar is due to open on Friday, June 15 in Tavern Street, Ipswich, creating 16 new jobs.
The new store will be a relocation of the current Westgate Street shop to a larger space. It is moving into the former HMV unit, following the entertainment retailer’s move into its new home in Sailmakers shopping centre.
The Superdrug store’s services will include an Orly Nail Bar, offering manicures and pedicures, with customers being able to choose between traditional nail polish or gel treatments, with no appointment necessary. It will also have a Brow & Lash Bar.
John Hunter, Tavern Street Ipswich Store Manager, said; “This new space is bigger than our previous store, meaning we can offer customers a wider selection of our unique mix of beauty, health and fragrances just in time for summer. We are sure our customers are going to love the new store.”
