New Woodbridge mayor tells his ideas

A NEW mayor is aiming to increase the profile of Woodbridge to bring in more tourists and trade for shopkeepers.

Mac Miles, 71, of Queen's Head Lane, Woodbridge, said he wanted to improve the town's facilities, including the provision of toilets and extra signs, and to exert more pressure on the district council to ensure the town council got what the residents wanted.

Mac Miles, 71, of Queen's Head Lane, Woodbridge, said he wanted to improve the town's facilities, including the provision of toilets and extra signs, and to exert more pressure on the district council to ensure the town council got what the residents wanted.

Mr Miles is considering whether to set up a town centre manager's job to co-ordinate the running of the shopping centre.
