AN IPSWICH nightclub is set to launch a massive Under 18s weekly bash tonight, with a performance by a dance music star.

Coinciding with the summer

holidays, the event will kick off at 7pm at Liquid nightclub, Cardinal Park.

Youngsters will have the chance to see Ritchie Dan performing his two garage hits 'Temptation' and 'Call It Fate' on a live PA set.

It will be the first of a number of planned events over the next few weeks, on a Tuesday night, for the younger age group.

Next week will see an Ibiza-style foam party and the week after Garage Nation will launch their latest

compilation album from the club. This night will include massive give-aways and another live performance from the Pay As You Go Cartel.

Entrance for all of the events is on a first come, first served basis, with entrance £5, or £4 from a flyer that can be picked up from around Ipswich. All of the U18s events close at midnight.

Manager of Liquid, Darren Guyon said: "We are hoping to provide a safe environment for youngsters to come out and enjoy themselves. The events will be heavily supervised and the same rules will apply on the under 18s nights as the weekend nights for the older age group. Of course no alcohol will be available but we will be

running a safe environment with top entertainment."

For those aged over 18, the club has other events planned.

On August 24 the club will be broadcasting live on Vibe FM - to get in free call 0845 6014642.

On August 26 DJ Pied Piper and MC Unknown will be performing when the club will be open until 2am.
