MOTORISTS faced a nightmare day on the M25 today after queues up to 12 miles long built up after an accident.Drivers faced lengthy delays in heavy rain after a van hit the central reservation on the anti-clockwise section between junction six and junction five.
MOTORISTS faced a nightmare day on the M25 today after queues up to 12 miles long built up after an accident.
Drivers faced lengthy delays in heavy rain after a van hit the central reservation on the anti-clockwise section between junction six and junction five.
Lanes on both sides of the motorway were closed while barriers were repaired.
Traffic queued back to the M20 at Swanley in Kent.
Another accident, between a lorry and a car at the M20 junction with the A20 for Maidstone, added to the delays.
Police said there were no serious injuries in either of the accidents.
