No serious injuries in morning crashes in Ipswich and Hintlesham

Police were called to two single-vehicle crashes in the Ipswich area early today.
The first was reported around 5.10am and involved a car colliding with a traffic light.
It happened on Norwich Road near to the double roundabout.
A police spokesman said there had been no serious injuries but the vehicle would have to be recovered.
A highways team was expected on site to fix the traffic light and clear up oil from the road.
The second incident happened on the A1071 at Hintlesham.
A car was said to have collided with a tree with the road being left partially blocked.

The vehicle was later moved to clear the road while recovery was awaited. There were no serious injuries.
