INCREASED noise levels are expected for residents living near Wattisham Airfield as the army undergoes some basic training this week.Troops based at the Suffolk airfield will be conducting a range of battle simulation training towards the southern end of the site, including blank firing and the use of explosives to create the sound of a battle.
INCREASED noise levels are expected for residents living near Wattisham Airfield as the army undergoes some basic training this week.
Troops based at the Suffolk airfield will be conducting a range of battle simulation training towards the southern end of the site, including blank firing and the use of explosives to create the sound of a battle.
The training is to prepare troops for operations overseas as and when required and will run until to Friday, October 5 and is to be confined to daylight hours.
