A new noodle bar has opened its doors in Ipswich’s Sailmakers Shopping Centre.

The arrival of Chopstix has created 15 new full and part time jobs to the centre.

Mike Sorhaindo, Sailmakers centre manager, said: “Chopstix is an increasingly well-known brand which is proving very popular and is growing quickly.

“Their arrival is a real boost for the centre and for the local economy in Ipswich with more new jobs created here at Sailmakers.

“It will also bring a new dynamic to our food offer which is very important as part of the shopping experience for our customers and is now an integral part of Sailmakers.”

Menashe Sadik, co-founder of Chopstix, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer busy Ipswich shoppers something new and exciting in the food court with our value for money and tasty dishes which also offer a healthier, fresher and faster alternative.”

Chopstix is the latest major new arrival this year following on from Best Days Vintage, Emmaus, Ravishing Beauty and Pep & Co’s shop within a shop at Poundland, while local department store Baldwins has also expanded after the £4million renovation of the centre in 2015.
