These pictures taken at the Man on the Moon pub from 1973 will evoke fond memories for many.
Situated in Palmcroft Road, the Man on the Moon pub has long since been a part of its community.
Opened in 1969, pictures were taken on a night at the pub that show the many faces who frequented it in 1973, and that it was a popular choice for many.
Still open today, with a large single bar and restaurant area, the pub was formerly run as part of the Hungry Horse chain before it was taken over by Greene King. The venue offers live music events and various traditional pub games including pool and darts.
Were you a regular punter at The Man on the Moon Pub in the 1970s, or is the venue now your local?
