Throwback Thursday returns for another week, this time remembering May 1995.
We start off with relaxing scenes at Alexandra Park as people of Ipswich enjoy the sun on the May Day bank holiday.
A demonstration by Greenpeace saw a large whale on a lorry bed set up in the Cornhill - certainly a sight many shoppers wouldn’t have expected to see in front of the Corn Exchange.
Clifford Road School marked VE day by giving pupils and their families an experience of what it was like to be in a bomb shelter during the Second World War.
The annual Ipswich to Felixstowe Historic Vehicle run took place. Guests could admire the cars at Christchurch Park before they set off on the trip.
Also in May 1995, pupils of Stoke High School were preparing for their performance in the regional youth theatre production for the year.
