Superman, Snow White and Pinocchio were all pictured at a Felixstowe school in 1995, which can only mean one thing - pupils were enjoying World Book Day!
Fun certainly wasn’t in short supply as these pictures taken by our photographer show.
It was a whole school affair, with everyone taking to the playground to show off their homemade costumes in celebration of their favourite characters.
And it wasn’t just the children having all the fun, as teachers joined in with fancy dress of their own - complete with tinsel wigs.
It was the first year that World Book Day had been celebrated - having officially launched on March 2, 1995.
The event encourages children to explore different books and celebrate the work of authors and illustrators.
