WELCOME to the latest instalment of our chronological look through the Star picture archives.
Today we are remembering the year 1987 and hope that these pictures spark some happy memories.
Among today’s photographs from the archives we have comic Griff Rhys Jones’ visit to Ipswich schoolchildren, infants from Whitehouse planting wild flowers, youngsters from the Robert Milne House playgroup, and the Christmas party at The Railway Hotel in Ipswich.
As ever, if you have any memories you wish to share with Evening Star readers, drop us a line at the addresses below and we’ll feature your contributions at a later date.
