SUFFOLK Police are appealing for witnesses following reports that a 93-year-old lady was burgled while she was in bed at her Newmarket home.Two men forced the door of the OAPs home in Sackville Street, Newmarket between 4 and 5am yesterday.
SUFFOLK Police are appealing for witnesses following reports that a 93-year-old lady was burgled while she was in bed at her Newmarket home.
Two men forced the door of the OAPs home in Sackville Street, Newmarket between 4 and 5am yesterday.
They searched through her belongings in the bedroom before leaving with a large quantity of jewellery, believed to be valued at almost £10,000.
The jewellery included a pearl necklace, a gold brooch set with three diamonds, a platinum necklace and pendant, a ruby and diamond boat shaped ring and a gold pocket watch dated 1815.
