COUNCIL tax payments are now only a few clicks away thanks to a new on-line payment system. It's the latest service to be added to the Suffolk Coastal website and allows residents to pay for all bills issued by the council at any time of the day or night.

It's the latest service to be added to the Suffolk Coastal website and allows residents to pay for all bills issued by the council at any time of the day or night.
Most people currently pay tax by Direct Debit, but the council hopes the new internet scheme will make payments even easier.
In a bid to make life simpler for everyone, computer boffins have even added sections about housing and council tax benefit to the now popular website.
The website, which can be found at www.suffolkcoastal.gov.uk aims to offer answers to frequently asked questions about services the council offers.
Councillor David Smith, cabinet member for finance and resources, said he believes it shows that the council is: "committed to providing residents with a service that is fair and efficient".
