ONE man was arrested and another was taken to hospital following a crash in Ipswich.

The two-vehicle accident took place in Larchcroft Road at around 9.10pm yesterday.

When paramedics arrived, the two occupants of the vehicle had left the scene. The driver was found 30 minutes later.

The fire service was called to clear a fuel spillage.

Police refused to reveal details of what the suspect, believed to be in his late teens or early 20s, had been arrested for, nor would officers say whether he had been charged.
