CHRISTCHURCH Mansion hosted a day of Victorian fun on Sunday as part of Suffolk's Heritage Open Days.
Visitors had a go at doing the washing 'Victorian style', using a dolly, copper and carpet beater.
On the lawn in front of the mansion were traditional Victorian games to enjoy and there was also a chance to meet the Fonnereau family maid and hear her stories.
All the events were free and included demonstrations of some traditional Victorian crafts including crochet and tatting.
