The Woolpit Steam Rally celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, with the two-day event is best known for its selection of rare and unusual tractors.

Around 20 tractors from before 1930 are expected to be on display over the weekend of June 3 and 4 at Warren Farm, in Wetherden.

Last year’s show saw £17,000 donated to local charities and community groups.

This year’s show will also have a further 70 tractors from up to 1965, an extended display of steam engines and more than 80 stationary engines driving an array of mills, pumps and other machinery together with a wood-sawing display.

Organisers say Woolpit Steam is different from others shows because of their desire to present historic and rare machinery not usually seen on display. Gates open 9am–5pm and admission is £5 for adults on Saturday and £6 on Sunday. Children are £2 on either day. Visit www.woolpit-steam.org.uk
