The Orient Express left Suffolk for a special day out in York carrying the 120 VIP passengers who boarded in Ipswich in real style.
The train is used for special excursions across the county - bringing a touch of elegance and panache to normally mundane train trips.
Heather Burrows, of Queenscliffe Road, Ipswich, boarded with her husband Bill and two friends Diana and Alec Mayhew.
She said: “We have a to-do list and a trip on the Orient Express has been on it for several years.”
Keith Stoodley, of Belstead Road, Ipswich, was travelling with his wife Maureen.
