POLICE have closed the Orwell bridge today after a person threatened to jump off.
POLICE have closed the Orwell bridge today after a person threatened to jump off.
The bridge was closed in both directions as a result of the incident, which police were called to around 4.20pm, causing large tailbacks on the A14.
However the road has now been reopened in both directions, though motorists are still experiencing some delays.
