A 23-year-old male was taken to Ipswich Hospital after being attacked outside a kebab shop on Upper Orwell Street, at 3am.
An ambulance spokesman said his injuries were not life-threatening.
At 3.15am, a 25-year-old was assaulted outside Zest nightclub, Princes Street, but did not need hospital treatment.
