TWO teenagers were arrested for firearms offences today by detectives investigating the shooting killing of Rhys Jones.
The pair were among 18 people arrested shortly after the murder of the 11 year-old in Croxteth Park, Liverpool last August.
A spokesman for Merseyside Police said: “Detectives investigating the murder of Rhys Jones in Croxteth on Wednesday August 22 have rearrested two males from Croxteth in connection with firearms offences.
“The two males, aged 18 and 16, were arrested this afternoon and have been taken to police stations on Merseyside where they will be questioned by detectives.”
